The main objectives of this initial project include:

• Replacing our custom system (PeopleSoft Bolt-On) with a robust, industry leading Identity and Access Management (IAM) system.
• Migrating existing identities to the IDM solution.
• Deploying the IAM to manage identity and access across the University.

This will be a highly collaborative enterprise level project between UTS, multiple stakeholders from across the McMaster community. McMaster University has selected SailPoint as our solution, a leader in Identity Management space, according to the Gartner Magic Quadrant and Key Data Solutions as our implementation partner. Project kick-off for later this summer is being planned.

This project will also be monitored by the IT Executive as part of the IT Governance framework. Details regarding the Project Steering Committee, the Project Team and other aspects of this project will be forthcoming soon.
