Storytelling the future: McMaster IT Strategic Planning Community Sessions

On June 4, 6, 7 and 11 the McMaster IT Community had the opportunity to engage in the McMaster IT Strategic Planning process. The AVP and CTO convened colleagues from across campus to envision the future of IT at Mac. Groups engaged in a collaborative storytelling exercise to craft ‘Digital Moments’, capturing the potential and future state of transformative technology and services at McMaster.

From here, the project team will leverage the creative priorities identified by participants at the IT Community sessions and by the McMaster IT Strategic Plan Steering Committee, and map these against recommendations from the campus wide IT Services Review, completed in 2016. The outcome will provide the framework for the three-year strategic objectives for the McMaster IT Strategic Plan.
