Cyber Security Awareness Month is here, and McMaster University is proud to join organizations across Canada in promoting digital safety and resilience.

This year’s national theme, “Get Cyber Safe – For Future You,” encourages all of us to take proactive steps today to protect our digital lives tomorrow.

At McMaster, cybersecurity is a shared responsibility. Whether you’re a student, faculty member, researcher, or staff, your actions play a vital role in keeping our university safe and secure.

Throughout October, the Information Security Services team will be sharing tools, tips, and stories to help you stay informed and empowered.

Visit the awareness campaign webpage on the Information Security Services website to explore:

  • Practical resources and training
  • Information about upcoming cybersecurity events
  • Updates from federal cybersecurity campaigns

Cybersecurity is for everyone—and we are strongest when we work together. Check the information webpage often throughout the month for new content and opportunities to get involved.
