Wireless connectivity has become the expectation and is considered a basic requirement for all modern-day universities. In response to the community feedback, wireless surveys were conducted for 54 buildings. This review was completed in 2018.
The implementation phase of this Wi-Fi initiative will span two years, beginning October 2019. More than 1,500 new Wi-Fi access points will be deployed across 54 buildings, including 12 residence buildings, and 42 non-residence buildings, and 4 engineering buildings.
