Women in Tech: Spring 2026 Series Highlights McMaster Leaders Shaping the Future of Technology
The Office of the AVP and CTO at McMaster University is launching a new series of Women in Tech, spotlighting exceptional women across the McMaster community whose leadership is shaping the future of technology, innovation, research and education.
The series debuts on International Women’s Day, in honour of this year’s global theme: “Give to Gain.”
Hosted by Gayleen Gray, Associate Vice-President and Chief Technology Officer, this series showcases authentic conversations with women who exemplify inclusive excellence and the spirit of community-building in their fields.
“In every corner of McMaster, women are advancing technology, inspiring connection and opening new doors for innovation,” says Gray.
“It was such a pleasure to chat with these incredible women and learn about the meaningful ways they give back to our community and strengthen our institution.”
Listeners will learn more about each guest’s professional journey, their connection to McMaster and the mentorship and collaboration that have influenced their paths.
Each conversation offers meaningful insights not only for women in technology, but for IT professionals, higher education leaders and colleagues across campus who are working to build more inclusive and collaborative workplaces.
