Choosing courses and building a timetable can be a very frustrating experience for students, often driving them into a faculty or departmental office for assistance when they are unable to find the courses they need or want, at times that work for them. My Timetable (formally Visual Schedule Builder (VSB)) is a bolt-on software application that integrates seamlessly into Mosaic Campus Solutions to greatly improve the student enrolment experience.

This application provides easy-to-use tools for a student to quickly create hundreds or thousands of potential timetables and then easily filter the options to find an optimal schedule that combines available course offerings with personal preferences or external commitments such as work, experiential learning, athletics, etc. What can take hours of manual planning can be done in a few mouse clicks. Facilitating a more successful self-service experience also frees academic support staff resources to focus on more complex student issues. Additionally, the inclusion of an enrolment dashboard provides tools for staff to better plan, understand and assess student demand/trends leading to better seat utilization.
