INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

Committees

The IT Governance Committees prioritize project initiatives,  monitor approved projects, and where necessary provide direct assistance to ensure projects remain on track.

Based on relevant businesses cases presented, the committee approves projects and investments, and focuses on the transition of projects to sustainable systems that are supported and used by trained resources.

This new structure includes an IT Executive Committee and four subcommittees and encourages and facilitates collegial decision making with a goal of sharing benefits across the campus.

Entering its third year:  McMaster IT Student Advisory Committee to advise on information technology on campus on matters dealing with IT programs and services for students.
